Integrity

Integrity is the foundation of public trust and the measure of any good parliament. I approach my role with a commitment to openness, accountability and service to the community.

People deserve to know how their representatives use public resources and who seeks to influence the political process. By being upfront about my actions and the influences on my work, I aim to build a political culture that earns the confidence of our community and delivers outcomes that reflect its values.

Sponsored Passes

Members of the Legislative Assembly can sponsor passes for people who do not work in the building to access it. I choose not to sponsor any passes to the Assembly.

Lobbyist Register

The ACT Register of Lobbyists gives the Government and the community clear information about who is lobbying in the Territory and who they represent. Only lobbyists who appear on the Register can contact Members of the Legislative Assembly, their staff and contractors, or ACT public sector employees when they lobby on behalf of a third party.

You can view the ACT Register of Lobbyists here.

Declaration of Member's Private Interests

The Statement of Registrable Interests puts on the public record any interests held by Members and Ministers that could conflict, or appear to conflict, with their public duties. This is a key part of maintaining openness and accountability.

You can find the Declaration of Member's Private Interests for each MLA here.

Diary Disclosure

In September 2025, Caitlin Tough MLA and I committed to publishing our diaries. We took this step to open up the political process, strengthen transparency and give the community a clear view of how we use our time. Below is my diary, completed in the same way Ministers are required to report theirs.

At the time of writing, myself and Caitlin Tough MLA are the only non-executive MLAs that publish their diaries.
